Preachers are going to get people killed with lazy & bad advice when it comes to domestic violence. It’s time the Church stops hiding its terrible secret – domestic abuse.

On this episode of #CrackYourBible, we’re talking about domestic violence within Christianity. While the Bible doesn’t allow for abuse, people who are filled with demon, slaves to the flesh, emulate their father – Satan. They twist scripture for their personal gain where they take scripture out of context to support their abusive behavior. The Church can no longer turn a blind eye to violence because the Church’s job is to protect people and to dole out JUSTICE. We serve a HOLY AND JUST GOD. Abuse and violence has no part in God’s Kingdom.

*From the Bible we know that:*
-Testimony that results in the death penalty must be on the evidence of two or three witnesses. Deuteronomy 17:6
-A man who violates a woman may not divorce her – no matter what. Deuteronomy 22:28-29
-A father is allowed to absolutely refuse to allow a man who violates his daughter, the right to marry her. Exodus 22:16-17
-If an unbelieving partner separates, the believer is not enslaved. 1 Corinthians 7:15
-We’re to be wise as serpents. Matthew 10:16
