My Husband Isn’t Attracted To My Physical Appearance

Our live caller explains she was hurt by her husband’s response to seeing her naked. She says, “I don’t know what to think about it- it was very hurtful.”

She goes on to say that she doesn’t normally undress in front of her husband, but he caught her naked. He closed his eyes the whole time they talked. She says this same situation happened in the past when her husband was in an affair.

Here’s the thing, your body undergoes physical changes throughout your life. Don’t focus on comparing yourself physically to people who are younger than you. Instead, become the most physically attractive you can be for your age and situation in life.

Physical attraction is the least important part of attraction. It may seem to be the most important in the short-term… but in the long-term, the most important thing is building your relationship. The intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the PIES connect you to your spouse. These are things you talk about together. These grow your minds, bring good emotions, and draw you closer.
