On this #CrackYourBible vlog, we’re chatting about a woman I met who went to prison and had to purchase a bodyguard for herself when her sentence was almost up.

Just like in prison where the lifers are trying to add more time to your sentence, Satan’s trying to take you out before you figure out that you have a means of escape – Jesus.

✝️ In this episode, from the Bible we know that:
• Death came to all people through Adam. Romans 5:12
• Jesus came to earth to go through the same things that we have to go through. Isaiah 53:8-9
• Sin must be paid for with blood (someone has to die.) Hebrews 9:22
• Jesus is able to empathize with us, even though He is sinless. Hebrews 4:15
• Jesus paid for our sin voluntarily. He has no sin of His own to pay for. John 10:17-18
• Like the animals without blemish sacrificed at the Temple to atone for the sin of the Israelites, Jesus’ is our lamb, without blemish, sacrificed for the sin of the world. Leviticus 16:15-16
• God is Holy so we must become Holy. Leviticus 11:44
• You are saved when you make Jesus your ruler. Romans 10:9
