God works through doctors! While society likes to keep mental health issues hush-hush, Christians needn’t fear talking about their struggles or utilizing the services of a medical professional.

☹ Use God’s treatment for DEPRESSION! (Christian mental health)

Today on #CrackYourBible, we’re talking about what to do when you, as a Christian, feel depressed. While of course some bouts of mental health issues are demonic attacks, sometimes a Christian just needs to visit a health professional to make sure their diet, sleep schedule and social interaction isn’t the culprit for their negative emotions. We live in a fallen world and Christians are susceptible to the same health issues that non-Christians are susceptible to. Without the help of a doctor, some health issues can be exacerbated – so don’t be afraid to visit a doctor or to take medication that your doctor prescribes to you – it is not a sin!

• We as Christians need to carry each other’s burdens. Galatians 6:2-5
• A bad diet can negatively affect Christians and non-Christians. Proverbs 25:16
• Jesus said that it’s sick people need a doctor. Matthew 9:12
• God knows what we need before we even ask Him. Matthew 6:7-8
