In this message Paul shares the rest of the story from last week’s sermon “The Journey for a Word” about Elijah in 1 Kings 19. It is here that God SPEAKS to ELIJAH with a WHISPER and tells him to GO BACK HOME. God was saying “GO BACK HOME but GO BACK with a NEW ATTITUDE, a NEW perspective, a NEW VISION, & a NEW BOLDNESS. Elijah was going back to the same place but as a different man after being in God’s presence. God calls all of us to GO BACK HOME and FACE those SAME CHALLENGES that sent us RUNNING AWAY. But God calls us to GO BACK with a NEW HEART and MIND and ATTITUDE. God wants us to TAKE HIS WORD back HOME, to TAKE HIS PRESENCE back HOME, & take our ENCOUNTER from the mountaintop experience back to the valley… It’s time to TAKE IT BACK HOME.
