Johnnie Moore – Liberty University Freshman Convocation

On August 16, 2012 at Freshman Convocation, Johnnie Moore, Liberty’s Vice President and Campus Pastor, gave the incoming Class of 2016 advice to succeed in college. His three main points were, (1) God gave you a good brain, use it; (2) God made you a person, be good at it, and (3) God gave you this opportunity, don’t waste it.
Moore primarily oversees the Office of Spiritual Programs (which includes Convocation), the Center for Global Engagement and he serves as an assistant to Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. Moore is best known as a teacher and frequent speaker at Liberty University as well for his leadership over Liberty’s extensive missionary and humanitarian work around the world. He is also the author of “Honestly: Really Living What We Say We Believe.”
