“All Work Trains You” – Hour of Power with Bobby Schuller

Pastor Bobby continues a four-sermon message series called “Avodah: My Work is My Worship.” In this series, Bobby will teach on how to find joy, not only in your work, but in your parenting, volunteering and service, and live God’s best life for you! Today’s message: “All Work Trains You.”

VIDEO TESTIMONIAL – Bre Robertson was a vibrant, extremely active 7th grader when she suddenly found herself in a hospital bed not knowing if she would make it to her next birthday. Diagnosed with a very serious medical condition, she underwent a two-month hospital stay and became depressed, even to the point of being ready to die. However, the joy and love of a very special nurse reached into her darkness and gave her the courage to keep going. Laura Dickinson is a soloist from Southern California. Known for her extensive work on Disney’s animated hits Phineas and Ferb, Sofia the First, and Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Laura also serves as a vocal director and vocal contractor for Disney TV Animation. As a trained dancer and actress, Laura has over 60 regional musical theatre credits under her belt. Today, Laura performs “O Come to the Altar” (comp: Elevation Worship; adapt & orch: M. Riley). She is accompanied by Dr. Irene Messoloras and the Hour of Power Choir, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Dana Baker is a member of the Hour of Power Choir and has performed in opera houses and concert halls around the country. Today, Dana performs, “Thanks” (comp: Carroll McGruder; adapt: M. Riley).
