ACTIVATING THE SUPERNATURAL BY PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS – PART 2 – APOSTLE GOODHEART OBI EKWUEME

Have you ever considered for a moment that ‘God is a SPEAKING SPIRIT’? Do a thorough search in the Bible and you would find this to be true. Not only is God a Spirit as we find clearly to be true from JOHN 4:24 but He actually ‘SPEAKS’ as well. All through the Scriptures you would find accounts of the many things God did “SAY”. As a matter of fact , a great portion of what is documented in the Bible are the many things that God did “SAY” at one point or the other.
What becomes very clear from the Scriptures is that God considers ‘WORDS’ to be very important. Not only does He consider ‘WORDS’ as being very important, JESUS- is the epitome of His Words, hence been addressed and called “THE WORD OF GOD”.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
There are 2 major things you can do with Words : 1- THINK 2- SPEAK. From the study of Scriptures, God does both – He THINKS and He SPEAKS. God expects us as His Children to similarly do both i.e THINK His Word (meditation ) and SPEAK His Word! The proper usage of God’s Word in these regards would bring about just any kind of change or transformation you desire in your life.Yes! It’s that powerful.
The creation story in GENESIS 1, is a classic illustration of God operating as a “SPEAKING SPIRIT”. Read the entire chapter and you would find a commonly repeated interesting phrase: “GOD SAID….and GOD SAW”. The climax was in verse 31.
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

I admonish and encourage you today to take your THOUGHTS and WORDS a whole lot more seriously than you have ever done in the past. They could be responsible for what is either ‘MAKING’ you or ‘BREAKING’ you! Remember to take PROVERBS 18:21 to heart:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
