MINISTERING: – #ApostleGoodheart O. Ekwueme
TITLE: – The Turnaround Power of Sacrifice
TEXT: – Psalm 50:5, 126:5-6 (AMPC)
Beloved, there is a coming again, another turn-around.
Today is a very special day in the history of RHOGIC. No service has been called covenant day of sacrifice. God is calling for this feast as we prepare for RIHAIC.
In our text Psalm 50:5, one way God is calling His people is through the instrumentality of sacrifice.
For the spiritually sensitive, the conference begins this morning. Bring your anticipation for the conference today.
One way to enter RIHAIC is to have an altar of sacrifice before the conference.
Beloved, whilst it is important to have a sacrifice before the conference, it is also important to have a sacrifice beyond the conference.
There is a clarion call from the God of heaven to take us into sacrifice with or without the conference.
God has declared that this house will be a company of the wealthy, to be empowered for the kingdom.
Like Abraham, God’s mission is to bless you to be a blessing to others.
Beyond the conference, God’s purpose is to gather his saints who have made a covenant with him by sacrifice.
God is calling us to consecrate our hearts, to align our purpose to His purpose.
God does not need you, you need Him.
The demand for sacrifice at this hour has been one of God’s spiritual technology to bring about a drastic turnaround for his people.
Understanding is the key to enjoying many benefits in the kingdom. – Psalm 47:7
The Jews under the old covenant gathered unto God three times a year for:
1. The feast of unleavened bread – Exodus 13:14-15, Haggai 2:8-9
2. The feast of the first fruit.
3. The feast of in-gathering.
Beloved, today is one of those Kairos moments liken to the steering of the pool of Bethsaida.
The falling of fire on your altar is indicative that your sacrifice is acceptable.
If there is no sacrifice, there is nothing for fire to fall on.
An altar is a place of meeting between divinity and humanity. It is a place of communion with God. – Daniel 11:32
Beloved, learn to build altars regularly.
Our patriarchs in the Bible were people of altars, as a memorial that they met God.
God brought the Israelites out of bondage not to bring them into Canaan but to meet with them in the wilderness.
Exodus 5:3 – Moses said to Pharaoh to let his people go so they can sacrifice unto him in the wilderness.
God wanted them to worship him and sacrifice to him in the wilderness. Exodus 19:1, 10-11
The worship God talked about included a sacrifice. – Genesis 22:1-5
For God to ask Abraham for Isaac, meant God knows what is important to you, He didn’t ask for Ishmael, He looks for Isaac, what you love.
What did God call for? Worship and sacrifice and two are intertwined.
Sacrifice is not a way to help God’s economy.
It is God’s technology and system to bring about a drastic change in the lives of his people.
Psalm 126:4-5, 2 Corinthians 9:8-10
God loves a cheerful giver but also recognises a tearful giver.
He knows there are certain seeds in your life that will cause you tears but will bring you a harvest that will make you a spectacle to your generation.
Beloved, if you feel the sacrifice, God feels it.
1 Corinthians 4:7
All we have we receive from God.
You are only a steward to all you have.
Revelation 4: 11 – You are created for God’s pleasure along with all you have as you received all from him.
There is only one creator and all others were created
For all intent, God asked, not because he is in need but because there is a covenant exchange about to happen.
What is sacrifice?
It is something that will cost you. What makes a sacrifice is the cost element.
Job 1:21
All you have is given by God, you really have nothing.
1 Corinthians 4:7
You are only a steward, you can’t defend it by yourself.
There is nothing you have that you haven’t received from him. There is only one creator.
God told David in 2 Samuel 24:24 the key to redeem the people of their sins.
David bought the sacrifice from Arauna and placed it on the Altar.
This sacrifice stayed the plague upon the land.
A sacrifice is not the same thing as an offering.
At every level where you are, there is something that costs you.
This is one of the systems God has put in place to bring about a turnaround in the life of his people.
2 Corinthians 9:10 – There is a seed and there is Bread
Seed is what you sow and Bread is what you eat.
Ecclesiastes 11:1 – A time will come when you won’t only sow Seed but be asked to sow Bread also and that will cost you a lot.
Psalm 126:1-6 – It is one thing to sacrifice, it’s another to sacrifice what is deemed by God as acceptable.
4 Types of Sacrifice
1. Obedience. Hebrews 11:17
2. Praise and worship when it’s not convenient. – Hebrews 13:15
3. Presenting your body to God. – Romans 12:1
4. Sacrifice of material things. – Philippians 4:18
There is a sacrifice that comes to God as an odor that comes to Him as a sweet-smelling sacrifice.

Be blessed and revived
