Christ’s first coming was an advent, but at His second coming there will also be an advent, and it is important that we don’t forget the necessity of it. What God did for us is all described in the parable of “The lost coin.” In Gethsemane, Jesus was seeking after someone. The wages of sin is death, and He came to save you from sin. You are not serving God, He came to serve you, so what you have to do is to surrender what you have to everyone around you!
