We are, at the moment, a very divided nation, and we need not look far to see that we are running off the rails of a moral and civil society.

Yet we can learn a lesson about giving thanks in all circumstances from our Christian Pilgrim forebears, who stopped to give thanks under circumstances far more grave than our own, and who saw God’s hand of blessing do amazing things.
