Disenchanted? A Pastor & a Born-Again Pagan Discuss | Tim Keller & Anthony Kronman

In this video

Two weeks ago, we hosted a Veritas Forum moderated by Willie Jennings at Yale with Tim Keller and Anthony Kronman, former Dean of the Yale Law School and author of Confessions of a Born-Again Pagan. Last week, The New Yorker published an profile on Prof. Kronman, outlining his “theology”—a belief system that stems from the penetrative question, “Is anything eternal?” For Prof. Kronman, this belief system represents a synthesis of Aristotle, Augustine, and Spinoza, among others, alongside a poetic understanding of the Eternal.

Naturally, the pairing of Kronman and Keller held the potential for a timely and thought-provoking discussion. We were not disappointed.

What unfolded at Yale struck us as a vitally important conversation for the university but also an invitation for more conversations like this in the public square.
