On this episode of #CrackYourBible, we’re talking about how the earth had been destroyed thanks to Lucifer going to war with God and how God planned to renew the Earth.

While sin destroys the creations of God, God sends the Holy Spirit when He’s about to do big things and renew His creation. We’re delving into Genesis 1:2 – when the Holy Spirit, the third part of the Trinity, makes His first appearance in the Bible / Torah.

✝️ *From the Bible we know that:*
• The earth became (hayah) formless / chaotic (tohu) and empty / void (bohu). Genesis 1:2
• Tohu & bohu are used together in a single verse one other time. Jeremiah 4:23
• God didn’t make the world in vain Isaiah 45:18
• Jesus is going to establish His new kingdom again, mirroring the Eden of Adam & Eve, and the pre-Adamic world God created that were both ruined by sin. Revelation 11:15
• The Holy Spirit was hovering (rachap) over the waters, like a mother eagle protecting her eggs. Genesis 1:2
• The Holy Spirit appears throughout the Bible, and He acts like a dove when He comes upon Jesus after His baptism. Matthew 3:16; Mark 1:10; Luke 3:22; John 1:32
• God has a plan for us, but we have to come into agreement with God and let His will be done, not our will. Matthew 6:9-10
• When we try to do our own thing apart from God, it’s like blind people stumbling while walking. Isaiah 59:10 (All of Isaiah 59.)
