In John 11, Jesus doesn’t heal Lazarus, his friend, straight away. Why is it that Jesus so often uses time, faith and other people to bring about His miracles on earth? Jesus models a unique kind of love that we are called to live – one that doesn’t always make sense to the people around us. Sometimes answering this invitation requires us to wait, trust in God, and sometimes, to step out boldly in faith.
